Why Choose
Grindhouse Grappling?

Kids Jiu Jitsu Classes
Ages 4+

A lot of people talk about how to get kids to listen, pay attention, and learn in class. You’ll hear them say things like, “kids need to learn discipline”.

We use a different approach to class management. We teach kids how to manage their own behavior and develop leadership skills. They take ownership of their learning and behavior instead of a coach telling them what to do.

This develops self-regulation skills that kids need to develop to be successful in life.

We have 20 years of experience teaching age-appropriate Jiu Jitsu in an inclusive and encouraging setting with a focus on emotional and physical safety.

Community Minded
We rise by lifting others

We’ve worked to support youth for over 25 years on the east and west coast. After relocating to Pueblo West in 2020, we began looking for ways to connect with youth organization in our new community. We provide scholarships for training, gear, and competitions to ensure that every child has a chance to participate.

The Pay it Forward benefit tournaments are a way we raise funds for local youth organizations. The tournaments offer friendly competition to kids and adults. The focus is on learning from the competition experience and coming together to support our community.

Partners

We partner with non-profit youth organizations to fundraise for their programs and to provide scholarships for training, uniforms, and competition fees. Our partnerships center on increasing access to grappling and financial support the organizations who support youth in our area. Please contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.
